Hi Janet,
I've read your blog and the info about solid vs. stenciled tagless clothing. A friend forwarded your info, and I also have a three month old at home now - I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I'm also a doctor, internal medicine. It seems that something in the plastic compound they used to create the solid background may be the irritant, rather than ink? You may want to consider that your child could have other contact allergies, such as latex etc., and it's a good idea to see an allergist to be tested for these things, considering how severe the reaction was. Have you done this?
Take care... D.

Thank you for your comments and recommendation! I appreciate your advice. We are taking that into account and have spoken to our pediatrician for the next appropriate steps, if any. However, Ava has contact with seemingly other items (e.g. toys) that may contain these compounds and hasn't had reactions. I'll certainly bring it up with our Pediatrician to see if Ava needs to do this. Thanks again for your advice!
